Cook Inletkeeper Mapping

Cook Inletkeeper maintains a Geographic Information System (GIS) shop.   GIS is computer mapping.  Databases are associated with maps to provide a powerful visual tool for resource management and analysis.  Inletkeeper assembled over 125 GIS layers with a user friendly viewer onto a CD-ROM that is available free to schools and libraries, and for a nominal cost to others.  Some examples of the maps that Inletkeeper has produced to support its advocacy, education, networking and research programs are included on this site: browse away!

Inletkeeper Data Downloads

Download screen fix for GIS atlas on CD: if you are running windows 95 or 98 with a control panel display setting greater than 480x640 resolution, this file will allow you to expand the map area to the entire screen when the viewer window is maximized.  Once the file is saved simply click on it and the problem will be fixed in a few seconds.

Thanks to ESRI and the Conservation Technology Support Program for their generous support of the Inletkeeper GIS Project
